Austin South

2.5 Feet Deep of Green

So deep, you cannot see the goats in the first photo. The owner could not even walk through their yard. The goats were happy to help and left with full bellies.

Working for the City

The City of Marble Falls, Texas, was looking for to clear their urban waterways that were left unattended for 10 years. Snakes, running creek, and steep slopes made it difficult to get machines and men to clear it. Waterway safety regulations generally prohibit the use of herbicides near or in waterways to protect water quality and lake ecosystems. Goats were a perfect match for this city's needs and they did a great job reaching those expectations.

Balcones Wildlife Refuge

Assisting a local Balcones National Park in reducing shin oak to improve a protected birds habitat. The picture on the left is deceiving, the vegetation was so thick you can't see the water tank and goats who are present when the photo was taken.

Good-Bye Poison Ivy

Goats eat as far up as they can reach, usually 5 feet, and down. They love poison ivy, poison oak, and Greenbrier leaves the most.

Overgrown backyard in Austin

Fresh forage in the spring is the most nutritious, especially the weeds. These results were completed in 4 days with our small crew.

Bee Cave Park

We worked with Bee Cave municipal offices to improve unmaintained areas within their city park. Goats cleared the heavy brush and workers followed to cut the bare branches and stems. eating the green leaves and stems reduced hours of labor for the city
